Eric Kraft. Author. Drew him while he read.
Buy and read his books. They will make you feel better about life on earth.
Tyler Richard, “The Gentleman of the Kid Industry” made a blue clay Owl with parakeet feathers for wings for Marnie and for me a Porcupine with tiny twigs for quills and at my request did them at 30 degrees angle. I drew this picture of him and made a clay bas relief of him with a yellow feather for his bangs. All in all a great afternoon at the ArtSpace studio of Sue and Gwen.

HGRM serves about 275 families a month up from 250 of a year ago.

Since most people who come to HGRM look for sets of furniture – for example, a kitchen table with chairs – there are many single chairs left in the warehouse. These chairs are older, a little unusual and frequently made of wood. We had an idea for putting these chairs to use while raising awareness and funds for the organization
and creating art at the same time. We’re calling the event “A Chair to Sit On”. We’re asking local artists to take the chairs and create something wonderful with them: paint them, decorate them, remake them into sculptures – anything they can come with – and then we’ll auction them off to benefit HGRM. Powers Gallery in Acton is helping us recruit artists and is holding the final auction on May 1, 2009 at the Gallery.
We will also hold an online auction through cMarket prior to this and combine it with the onsite auction at Powers Gallery.
We worked together at the Dandelion Green restaurant in Burlington MA.
